Q2 2024 Dining & Restaurants Apps Performance on Unified Platform

In Q2 of 2024, the dining and restaurant category saw varied user engagement across top applications on the unified platform. Here's a snapshot of how five popular apps fared in terms of downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

McDonald’s - Non-US experienced a steady increase in downloads, starting at roughly 5K in the first week of April and peaking at approximately 9.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users fluctuated, beginning at around 127K and reaching a high near 145K mid-June, before closing the quarter at about 129K.

KFC România also saw an upward trend in downloads, with an impressive jump to approximately 35K in the last week of June from just under 4K at the quarter's start. The app's weekly active users started at about 45K, peaked at roughly 47K midway through the quarter, and experienced a significant rise to around 74K by the end of June.

Domino's Pizza Romania maintained a relatively stable download pattern, hovering around 1K each week, with a slight uptick to nearly 1K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users saw modest growth from 63 in the first week to 85 in the last week of June.

Taco Bell Romania downloads began at 580 and rose to 845 in the third week of April, followed by some fluctuations and ending the quarter at around 514. Unfortunately, data for weekly active users was not available for this period.

BURGER KING® Magyarország had fewer downloads compared to others, starting at 364 and showing a slight decrease by the end of June with 203 downloads. The weekly active users saw a small decrease from 4K in the first week to 3.5K by the end of the quarter.
